Beresford, NB Stopover

We started Day 1 of our resumed trip with a grocery run to Costco in Moncton (we must first eat in order to make use of our elaborate outhouse on wheels, obviously), then through to Beresford, a small town on the east coast of New Brunswick.  While I've driven through and enjoyed the southern and middle parts of the province, I found the east coast drive to be surprisingly underwhelming. Too much of the coast was invisible from the highway. Either way, we meant to make as much headway as possible heading toward our first destination, a tour of the Gaspe Peninsula just north across the Quebec border. We eventually stopped for the night in Beresford because there was free boondocking in an arena parking lot right next to what was known as Beresford Beach. The beach itself proved to be small and rocky, but there was a nice picnic ground and walkway running parallel. The parking lot did have a view of the coast.
