Rest of Nova Scotia

As I am from Nova Scotia and have returned there at on an annual basis, it wasn't as much of a priority for this trip (outside of Cape Breton). On our way back after the 6 hour ferry from Newfoundland to North Sydney we stopped at a free boondocking site across the road from a church in Whycocomagh, Cape Breton (marked A on the map). Dusk had arrived and we are trying to stay off the road at night throughout the trip as a rule. Nothing special, but the price was right and it overlooked a part of Bras D'or Lake, which was nice to wake up to. Always good to have fellow boondockers around like above to know the site is legitimate. We use the iOverlander app to find such sites. The Cabot Trail might be a bit overrated (I wouldn’t, for example, fly all the way from South Korea to do the drive, though I’m sure it’s been done). That being said, I’m assuming it’s spectacular during high autumnal leaves season, if your timing is lucky enough. Either way, it’s a nice place, and I know my photos haven’t done it justice. I was a bit occupied making sure my breaks weren’t nuked on those crazy declines (being a rookie, I...
